Capercaillie Care provide experienced staff who have completed our robust recruitment procedure and induction. Ongoing support and supervision is provided to our care team whilst working in the community.

Capercaillie Care will work with you to develop and deliver a person centred package to meet your needs, outcomes and requirements, ensuring that you and your loved ones can be confident that you are well looked after.

About Us

Capercaillie Care started delivering care in June 2020 at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, so we are no stranger to overcoming difficult challenges within the care sector.

We originally started with a small operation in Aberdeen City and nearby Aberdeenshire. Since then, we have grown the operation significantly further into Aberdeenshire, Angus and Moray. This has been achieved without impact on the quality of care that we deliver.

Capercaillie Care’s philosophy is based upon the provision of a service which promotes the rights, independence, privacy, dignity, fulfilment and choice of our Service User by providing professional and trusted support and care in your own home

Management Team

Capercaillie Care’s management team is headed up by two Directors who oversee the day-to-day running of the Company. Capercaillie Care has a Registered Manager who reports into the Directors, however overviews the business operations. Area Managers report into the Registered Manager and overview local business operations.

The company consists of a Business Support Team, Recruitment Team and Operational Teams.

The Business Support and Recruitment teams report into the Directors with input from the Registered Manager. The Operational teams report into the Registered Manager with input from the Directors.

The Operational teams are split between each of the areas that Capercaillie Care operates in and are led by an Area Manager.

  • Ensure we are operating within the Health and Social Care Standards.
  • Ensure that our care team feel respected and valued.
